C.J. Johnson hails from Detroit, MI. She received her Bachelor of Science at Aquinas College and during her career in politics she completed her MBA. The dysfunctional political world and mundane day-to-day gave her an opportunity to get lost in a world of imagination through books. Her love of books and an overactive imagination created a romantic story of a young lady trying to navigate, finding herself and living up to the expectations of her family. C.J. has a YouTube channel where she reviews books from her book club as well as her love of reading. During COVID lockdown she read all the books in her Kindle and Audible and started downloading books daily.
During that time nothing was holding her interest, so she just started typing and as the months passed the story became very interesting which made her want to develop the characters more…C.J. never proclaimed to be a writer but the story developed as she has started paying attention to word choices and speech patterns.
